I think this is expensive, too slippy, and requires precision within a couple threads on your strip cuts. I am pretty damn precise but couldn't get the green points (used to blunt points) to hang off the fabric "just so". Unless they are "just so" the blunted edges can vary wildly which...wait for it....messes up the points on the block. The "bonus" ruler isn't anything to write home about either. The best part of this purchase was watching Bonnie Hunter's youtube video. She's a great teacher with a lot of charm. Can't exactly say the same for this tool but with practice and putting on grips (I am often stumped why expensive rulers don't come with these grips already applied) and more practice it does work.I may need to work with it more to love it and if so will joyfully update my evaluation.
I love Bonnie Hunter and her patterns. This is the 2nd one I have purchased. It is great for her patterns and other quilters patterns.
I held off buying this for a long time as specialized rulers are expensive and I've always managed with my straight ones. This was SO WORTH the price though! It saves you a lot of fabric and time. I'm very glad I decided to buy this one.
The best method ever for HST. It combines the Easy Angle and Companion Ruler all in one.
Love Bonnie Hunter's patterns and rulers! Just wish the little extra one was made of a BRIGHT NEON COLOR so I wouldn't misplace it all the time!!
Could not get glue off. Useless. Wish I sent it back since I can use. Was exposed to heat.
