Impressive study guide! This book is so detailed, I could not believe it. The volume alone told me it contained everything I needed to know. The print inside was nice and dark. Easy to read. All topics were thoroughly outlined and provided in great depth. So much more content than I would have imagined was included in this study aid.I received this copy from the publisher. The study guide provides information from student growth and development to professional responsibility. With a practice test with over 100 questions. I found this guide useful. I recommend buying if you are planning to take MTLE.
I particularly liked the section devoted to how the Test is scored. For many students, knowledge of the overall scoring, weight of specific questions, and acceptable ranges of scores can be as important as the information contained within the exam itself. I also felt like the Study Guide flowed nicely from one topic to the next, with plenty of practice questions, helpful tips, and reminders for the exam. The full length practice exam at the end of the Study Guide was another element of the book that I found attractive and helpful.
The quality is high and the content is visually easy to navigate.
It hits each grade levels course.
I like that information is presented in a lot of different ways and that there is clear hierarchy on most of the pages so I can tell what is important. I like the quick review boxes. Those are helpful. I also think the use of tables is good- easier to digest all the info.
This book presents that information in a concise manner, with review questions scattered throughout and a large, full length test at the back of the book. Even better, you have access to an Online test, and as that is the way in which you will be taking the test you should do that as well. (You also have access to a free video on test tips, which is worth a look). This book itself is large (Over 300 pages) and allows you to review concepts and strategies from experienced teachers, which will be useful in the long run.I received a copy of this book from the publisher for free, this is my voluntary review.
